Finally....I have been looking for this for weeks!

Below is a video that I watched months ago on you tube. But due to recent events I couldn't get this song out of my head. It is such a great song. It has officially become my anthem for Meredith and should be for everyone. Take the time to listen to the song and watch the video I know you will be pleased.

Someone needs to hit her one more time!

Let me be the first one to say I am a Britney Spears fan but on that note my affection to her has changed significantly in the past few years. I have even been trying to be supportive in these past few months. This is something she is not making this easy on me. Her recent activity has started to put my own sanity in question. I have had many heated debates with various friends on the topic of Brit Brit and, generally I am the one coming to her defense. Now, I will say that my feelings have gone from seeing her as an object of lust to an object of pity. Her recent bout with shoplifting is just insane to me. I think she is asking someone to challenger her. She has definitely gotten too big for her britches. This might explain why she chooses not to wear them anymore. Shoplifting a lighter that cost fewer than two bucks, in front of the paparazzi none the less has Britney totally lost it? She is going to need some major tough love. I do hope she gets her act together. I miss those snake handling days and I'm not talking about her time growing up in Louisiana.

Spice Girls in Vegas!

Just in case anyone happens to see this and is interested in going to a Spice Girls Concert tomorrow night in Las Vegas just let me know. I have a friend that purchased the tickets but is not going to be able to use them. Of course he would like to get face value out of them but will take best offer. I know it's short notice I am just trying to help a brother out. Just let me know! There are 2 tickets available for tomorrow at 8pm at Mandalay Bay. They are located in the lower level so I think they arr are good seats.

I'm dreaming of a White Trash Christmas!

Just to let everyone know I like a little flare too but , I think this is a little much....

Think this would make Clark Griswald envious. Now this is a little more my speed...

However you choose to decorate for the season...I hope it's a safe and happy one!

Before and After

Here is a before and after of a dining room makeover that my friends and I did for a very special couple. Thanks to everyone that contributed. Thanks!

A Mullet Nation

Parents of the world please do not subject your children to this type of torture. The Mullet is a hairstyle of choice. No child deserves this even if they live in Commerce, GA. Which is where this picture was taken about a month ago. I enjoy a mullet probably more than most but this poor child was not aware of the what goes along with rocking this hairstyle.

Meredith Holland Jones - Febuary 19, 1978 to November 30, 2007

I am posting this blog to day to pay tribute to one of my best friends who passed a week ago today. Meredith was truly a special person. She was diagnosed with cancer eighteen months ago. We were fortunate to have her in our lives for the past 29 years but what I wouldn't do to have her here for the next 29. I met Meredith at the University of Georgia in 1997 but it wasn't till the past few years that we became BFF's. If I knew then what I know now. To everyone who reads this entry be sure to enjoy every minute you have with your family and friends because you never know when it could be the last. Meredith's impact will be felt for years to come. I was apparent, this past Monday, at her memorial service. The hundreds people who attended from her family, friends, to the students she taught in her career as an elementary music teacher. We will miss you and I can't wait to see you again!

Design Work

Hello Everyone! This is my first post on my new blog Design and Dish. I am going to give you a little bit of a taste of my work. As a designer I try not to get stuck doing one particular style. It's funny because that is exactly what a lot of designers strive for. I want my clients to be happy with their space not the space I designed for them. Because in the long run they are the ones who have to live there. Above are four different Master bedroom that I have designed. We have four different design styles. The first room has an Asian Fusion feel. The second is Traditional with a twist. The black and gold color combination has long been associated with traditional design but the addition of the artwork of the Spanish Senorita helps tone down the rooms formality. The third room is Spa inspired. The soothing color palate of blues and greens and creams give this loft bedroom a relaxing atmosphere. The custom linen bedding along with the woven rattan headboard make this room distinctive and sophisticated. Transitional is the best word to describe the last picture. The crisp white contrasting with the vibrant green gives the space a feel of a boutique hotel. So you see that variety is truly the spice of life. That's all I have for now. Hopefully this will be the first of many posts! Have a great day!
